Custom Treatment Plan
Following your decision to proceed with aligners, we use our 3D scanner to meticulously plan your customized treatment. Once the design is finalized, your custom trays will be created, and you’ll return for an appointment approximately four weeks later
Your First Treatment Appointment
During this visit, SmartForce Attachments may be affixed to your teeth, depending on your case. These attachments act as handles, aiding the alignment process. You’ll receive instructions on how to use your clear, custom trays and leave with your first set. You’ll also be provided with a series of trays for the remainder of your treatment.
Wearing Your Aligners
To achieve optimal results, you’ll need to wear your aligners for approximately 20 – 22 hours per day. You’ll switch to a new set of aligners every 1-2 weeks, with each aligner gradually shifting your teeth into their designated positions.You can remove your aligners for eating, drinking, brushing, flossing, special occasions, and playing your favorite sport or instrument.
Regular Appointments
Most of our appointments are scheduled every 8-10 weeks, offering flexibility for those with busy schedules or those residing out of town. Additionally, we offer virtual appointments when physical visits aren’t required.
Treatment Completion
Upon completing your treatment, we’ll guide you on post-treatment needs, such as retainers, based on your case. We’ll schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure your continued satisfaction with your new smile, maintaining ongoing communication.
