Cost of Treatment
The total expense associated with orthodontic treatment can vary based on each individual patient’s case complexity and the duration of treatment. On average, treatment can range from $1,200 – $8,000. During your initial consultation, you’ll receive a complimentary exam, complete with diagnostic images. Our team will then craft a set of treatment solutions entirely tailored to your unique needs. It’s during this consultation that we’ll also provide you with a detailed breakdown of the costs and present you with a selection of options that align with your budget.
Insurance
Insurance coverage for orthodontic treatment varies widely among different companies and employer agreements. Typically, there’s a lifetime maximum benefit, paid as a percentage of the orthodontic fee until reaching the maximum. Charges for lost or broken appliances may not be covered.
How does this office assist you with insurance?
We’re happy to help submit initial insurance claims, but our main financial relationship is with patients or their families, not their insurance companies. Financial arrangements can be based on estimated insurance benefits, but any unpaid claims are the responsibility of the patient or their family.
Can flex spending help with the cost of treatment?
- Know what your benefits are before treatment starts. If you are not sure, contact your insurance company so that you know exactly how much you can expect to be paid and when to expect payment.
- If you would like our office to submit claim forms, we ask that you provide us with the name, address and telephone number of your insurance carrier.
- We cannot render services on the assumption that our charges will be paid by an insurance carrier. However, for your convenience, we will accept payments from your insurance company assigned to us by the insured. Such payments will be credited accordingly to your account.
- If your company requires verification of continuing treatment, you may send them a copy of your cancelled check or cash receipts. If your insurance carrier provides a form for verification of continuing treatment, we will be glad to complete the signature portion.
